About Le Bouquet
Le Bouquet by Pablo Picasso (Spanish 1881 - 1973) is a true example of Picasso's fantastical modernist style. With a simple still life of a vase of flowers on balcony, Picasso's classic style still shines through. A red butterfly rests atop the yellow flowers and the background of the balcony and tiles adds to the dimension of this great artwork. Originally drawn in 1958 by the artist, this lithograph printed and published in the period of 1979 to 1982. This print is from Picasso's granddaughter Marina Picasso's estate collection and has an estate approved signature in purple printed below the artwork. In typeset below the image it states 'Collection Marina Picasso'. This extraordinary artwork brings to life the Pablo Picasso quote, "Everything you can imagine is real."
