About Samson UB1 USB Boundary Microphone
The UB1 is an omni-directional, low-profile boundary microphone featuring USB connectivity for capturing audio in conference rooms, classrooms, meeting spaces or even in home offices. The UB1 is a great choice to use for video or web conferencing. Plug and play connectivity allows for quick setup on both Mac OS and Windows computers without installing any drivers. The omni-directional polar pattern picks up sound 360° around the microphone, ensuring that everyone in the room is heard clearly and intelligibly. A neoprene rubber pad is added to the bottom of the unit to decouple the microphone from the surface, helping to reduce unwanted pick-up noise. Because of its low-profile design, the UB1 can be conspicuously placed on a conference table, podium or alter. The UB1 is built using heavy-duty die cast construction with reinforced steel grill, and convenient mounting points allows for easy mounting of the UB1 on a wall or ceiling.
