The R300 features a 5 inch Uni-Q driver array, which consists of both mid-and-high-frequency drivers. The purpose of the array is to have both frequencies coming from the same place, allowing them to integrate perfectly and create a convincingly natural sound.

The R300 bookshelf speaker also features a 6.5 inch low-frequency driver below the Uni-Q array, which ensures a clean, deep and uncompressed bass output with superb dynamics.

Surrounding the Uni-Q driver array is our new mid-range Z-flex surround, which projects audio more efficiently into your listening space and results in undistorted high frequencies.

The KEF R300 is the larger of the two bookshelf speakers offered in our R Series, and with more size comes more sound. The R300 bookshelf loudspeaker features 5 inch Uni-Q driver housed in a cabinet that was specifically designed to eliminate any coloration of sound or unwanted frequencies. This Uni-Q driver array offers pristine mid-range response, thanks to a braced magnesium/aluminum alloy cone and our Z-flex surround technology helping to properly project audio into your listening space. On top of all that, our 'tangerine' waveguide ensures a wide and even dispersion without interference between the high-frequency and mid-frequency drivers. The R300 bookshelf speaker also features a 6.5 inch low-frequency driver below the Uni-Q array, which features a massive vented magnet assembly and a large, lightweight aluminium voice coil driving an inner hybrid cone. This setup ensures a clean, deep and uncompressed bass output with superb dynamics. Standing at just over one foot tall and one foot deep, the R300 is the perfect addition to any bookshelf, desktop, counter top, or anywhere else where an audiophile-grade speaker is needed.
