The Sawyer Squeeze Water Filtration System is a lightweight, portable water filter designed for hiking, camping, travel, and emergency preparedness. This squeeze water filter removes 99.99999% of bacteria such as Salmonella, Cholera, and E. coli, 99.9999% of protozoa including Giardia and Cryptosporidium, and 100% of microplastics, providing safe, clean drinking water from lakes, rivers, streams, and faucets worldwide. The filter uses 0.1 micron absolute filtration, meaning no pore is larger than 0.1 microns, which physically blocks harmful contaminants while allowing clean water to pass through. Performance is verified by independent laboratory testing, including Hydreion, LLC (Microbiological Report S05-03) and certified labs Aquadiagnostics Laboratories and Envirotek Laboratories (S1–2512B-12512C; S3–12514-12514A). At the core of the Sawyer Squeeze is a hollow fiber membrane system made of thousands of tiny tube-like fibers. As water is pushed through these fibers, bacteria, protozoa, cysts, and microplastics are trapped on the outside walls while clean water flows through the center. These hollow fiber membranes are engineered with thicker walls and a smaller inner diameter, making them up to 75% stronger than standard membranes, as tested by the Clean Water Institute of Calvin University (July 2018). This durable construction allows aggressive backwashing to restore up to 98% of the original flow rate, extending the life of the filter up to 100,000 gallons with no cartridges to replace. The included CNOC 1-liter premium bottle enhances the system with a soft, collapsible, and highly durable design that packs down small yet stands upright when filled. Fill directly from lakes, rivers, and streams, even in shallow water sources. Made from flexible, BPA-free TPU material, the bottle is both lightweight and rugged for repeated outdoor use. Paired with the Sawyer Squeeze filter, it creates a compact, all-in-one hydration solution—simply fill the bottle, attach the filter, and drink directly or squeeze filtered water into another container for convenient, on-the-go use. For safety and quality assurance, every Sawyer Squeeze filter is individually tested three times during manufacturing—once after fiber construction and twice after final assembly—to ensure no harmful pathogens can pass through the sealed system or internal O-rings.
