Though Remflex DIY material is thicker than other material bolts longer than your existing fasteners are not required

This DIY material can be easily cut with a razor blade or Exacto-Knife

Trace your pattern first then punch or drill out any bolt holes then the inside holes and then the outside shape

A sample practice piece of the material comes with your order to practice on before you begin your project; it is highly recommend that you do this and get a feel for the material before you handle the gasket sheet

DESCRIPTIONS

Remflex DIY Gasket Sheet material is an outstanding high temperature material. In addition to high temperatures, it is also resistant to oils, solvents and chemicals. Its uses are limited only by your imagination and fabrication skills. With this in mind however, the customer is still responsible for all engineering in regards to qualifying the functionality of Remflex Gasket Material Sheets used in their particular application. Remflex DIY Material is soft and compressible therefore it requires less torque than other materials to seat properly. Please use care when tightening down. The material can crush down to 1/16" thick but will normally seal long before that. If this material is over-torqued you can crack it and create a leak. Remflex's unique flexible graphite material has been proven for more than 30 years in industrial applications, where temperatures routinely exceed 2,000 degrees-day after day, week after week, year after year.
