For those shooters who want the most out of their shooting experience, Pachmayr offers the Decelerator grips. After years of working with rubber formulations trying to develop the softest most recoil absorbing grip on the market Pachmayr has developed this breakthrough rubber material -50% softer than a regular grip. NOTE: - By design, these grips have an opening on the bottom, and there will always be some flashing on an edge. This flashing can be easily trimmed off. The tension of the main spring should NOT be modified or adjusted. This particular product should also ONLY be used for the model specified in the product title, description, and bullet points: “S&W N Frame Round Butt”. This product is not designed to be used on other brands that are simply based on a S&W frame. An over-tightened grip screw can bend the steel insert causing gaps. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN THE GRIP SCREW. Make sure the screw holes line up with each other once the grip is placed around the pistol. Make sure to not over tighten the screw on this product as the screw could push through the other side of the grip it tightened too far
