In aquariums, the water’s phosphate level plays an important role. Excessive phosphate causes cloudy water and poor fish health in freshwater and saltwater aquariums and serious harm to corals in saltwater reef aquariums. GFO Bayoxide E33 removes phosphates from aquarium water. Its large specific surface achieves rapid and long-lasting phosphate bonding, making GFO the perfect solution for phosphate removal. Compared to conventional adsorption medias, the high iron content of GFO Bayoxide E33 demonstrates significantly increased absorption capacity combined with faster removal performance for highly efficacious and long lasting phosphate reduction that results in a healthier aquarium. Start with a standard dose of 1 gram/gallon and add or change media when phosphate levels start to rise or algae increases. For best results, do not allow phosphate levels to test above 0.05ppm.
