BIGTREETECH Eddy Coil ONLY supports Klipper. It needs to be used with tool boards with I2C interfaces such as BTT EBB36/42 CAN, and the wiring provided with Eddy Coil can be directly connected to EBB36/42 CAN. (Eddy Coil+EBB36/42 CAN=Eddy USB)

It must run on a metal spring steel plate and avoid interference from independent magnets. If the hot bed uses a circular magnet scheme (such as Prusa), it will cause Eddy Coil to not work properly; If it is a uniform soft magnet, it can also be used, such as the hot bed solution of PEI steel plate+soft magnet.

Eddy Coil does not have thermal compensation function, so it is not suitable for Z-axis zeroing. It is mainly used in conjunction with existing Z-axis return 3D printers (such as limit switches/Microprobes/BLtouch). When used in conjunction with existing Z-axis 3D printers, Eddy Coil provides fast bed scanning functionality. In addition, we have designed a print holder that allows for the simultaneous installation and use of Eddy Coil and Chaoticlab CNC Tap on the extrusion head.
