About The Silentspace

Repressing. 2008 expanded reissue of the Liverpudlian duo's second album, originally released 18 years after their 1984 debut album. The CD features three bonus tracks, 'It Hurts', 'Face of the Century' and 'Bodywave' all taken from their Stay Free EP that was released in 2001. The Lotus Eaters were formed in the early '80s by Jem Kelly, formerly of the Wild Swans and Peter Coyle. The band enjoyed a couple of hits 'The First Picture of You' and 'You Don't Need Someone New' in 1983, releasing one album No Sense of Sin the following year. The duo reformed after nearly two decades apart to record and release the album Silentspace. The CD booklet features extensive sleeve notes with contributions being made Jem Kelly and Peter Coyle. Cherry Red.
