DESCRIPTION: Flex FG Silicone Press Mold of a Doll Face Cab (spinster, prude). #37 cast size is approx. 1 1/2" H x 1" W x 9/16" D. Painted/unpainted face cabs (not for sale) are provided nearby to show the end product, a direct casting. Under Amazon's "Prod Details/Dimensions" area, weights/dimensions refer to the mold itself and are generalized (largest/heaviest possible) since size of handmade products vary. INSTRUCTIONS: FG silicone molds can be used for casting chocolate, butter, pastries, isomalt, gumpaste, fondant, and other confectioneries. If used for baking, recommended oven temp not to exceed 395 degrees (F). If you're new to working with flex molds, the internet is full of "How To..." sites on preferred methods, proper use (which you may wish to review prior). TUTORIAL RECOMMENDATION(s), refer to the shop's FAQ page. IMPORTANT: Though the molds can also be used for non-edible items like polymer clay (various brands), PMC, low-melt metals (w/max recommended cast temp of 350 degrees "F"), plaster, urethane/epoxy/polyester resins, vinyl, wax, soap, cement and more, they should be used for "edible" or "inedible" cast materials, NOT both. For edible castings, first wash molds in hot soapy water. NOTE: Slight distortions, uneven features are intended by the artist making each face unique, with character. Each face is its own, some with deeper lines, more detail than others. The molds are recommended for use with soft cast material that can be manipulated to suit your own style. All are handmade therefore slight imperfections, size, shape, color variations may exist while the overall impression remains the same.
