Happiness is a well-behaved dog. The Educator PF-1000-BK E-Fence system keeps your dog in your yard without changing the appearance of the home, and without the cost and hassle of a traditional fence. Install the E-Fence in any pattern to keep your dog away from gardens or swimming pools. A thin border wire is buried a few inches below ground or tacked or weaved to the bottom of an existing fence. E-Fence electronically connects the buried wire with the electronic collar via a radio signal. As the dog nears the boundary, the collar gives off a caution sound or vibration. The sound/vibration alerts the dog that it's getting too close to the boundary. If the dog continues toward the boundary, it receives a mild correction. The momentary sensation gets the dogs attention to learn new boundaries. 30 levels of adjustable stimulation allow you to customize the level for your dog. It generally takes two weeks to train a dog with E-Fence. With training and experience, the warning will prevent the dog from going close to the yard perimeter, learn its boundaries and no longer need to receive any correction. When the dog is trained, the pet owner will feel confident it can walk and run in the yard safely, is happy, and secure. E-Fence supports multiple dogs if each dog has its own collar. Some owners may worry about the correction but be assured this is only "static" corrections, are very mild and will not hurt the dog. The corrections are similar to sliding your feet on carpet and then touch something, while alerting is not harmful.
