About AMERICAN PLANT EXCHANGE Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma
Philodendron 'Ginny' (Rhaphidophora tetrasperma) is known as the Mini Climbing Monstera and is a rare tropical aroid with small ornamental leaves with split lobes about 6" across. In nature, the plant will climb trees by rapping it’s aerial roots around the trunk and then will hang down from the upper branches. Best in bright indirect light with regular water and moist soil. The leaves look like a mini Monstera deliciosa but are much smaller. The leaf splits will widen and develop with age. They are used as a houseplant or grown outdoors in a frost free environment. Plant at the base of a trellis, palm, or tree trunk and it will climb up adding a tropical touch to the garden. They like to be kept moist in a pot but must have well-draining soil so they do not sit in water. Shipping and handling can be very tough on live plants so please be sure to open and check your plant right away. We are unable to ship this plant to California due to restrictions by the California Department of Agriculture. Please be aware that if your pet is a plant chewer this plant is considered toxic to animals. There are no other authorized sellers of American Plant Exchange plants.
