About TaoTronics Bluetooth 5.0
TX mode: In the TX mode, the Bluetooth transmitter can be used to stream audio from non-Bluetooth audio sources such as non-Bluetooth TVs or CD players to Bluetooth headphones/speakers. This transmitter is supported to RCA connectors and AUX connectors, therefore, please kindly check if your audio sources have one of these kinds of jacks. Please note that the adapter should be plugged into the “L&R AUDIO OUT” jack or the “AUX OUT” jack on the audio source but not the “Component IN” jack. RX mode: In the RX mode, the Bluetooth adapter could be used as a Bluetooth receiver to non-Bluetooth stereos such as wired headsets or wired speakers. Pair the Bluetooth receiver with your cell phone and plug your headsets into the jack on this unit, then you will be able to hear the music from your phone. NOTE： If the TV does not have the “AUX OUT” jack or the “L&R AUDIO OUT” jack, a headphone jack should also work. If the TV only have a “DIGITAL AUDIO OUTPUT (OPTICAL)” jack, a convertor is needed or you could choose another model of TaoTronics Bluetooth Transmitters, TT-BA09, which is supported to both aux audio output and optical audio output. Not recommend for streaming live music (while playing guitar keyboard electronic drums etc ). How to pair： [Pair in TX mode]: 1. Set the TT-BA08 to TX mode and connect it to your Non- Bluetooth audio transmitting device. 2. Place your Bluetooth audio receiving device, like earphones / speakers, within a 3 feet / 1 meter range and set it to pairing mode. 3. Turn on the TT-BA08 and tap the power button twice to enter pairing mode. After approximately 10 seconds, pairing will complete. [Pair in RX mode]: 1. Set the TT-BA08 to RX mode and connect it to your non-Bluetooth audio receiving device. 2. Turn on the TT-BA08 and tap the power button twice to enter pairing mode. 3. Activate the Bluetooth function on your transmitting device- phone / tablet, and search for the nearby Bluetooth devices. 4. Find “TaoTronics TT-BA08” in the search results and tap on it to connect. Once connected, the LED indicator will turn solid blue. Note: • The adapter will enter pairing mode automatically when powered on for the first time. • The original pairing memory will be cleared after a mode switch. It will automatically start pairing each time it’s powered on. For more operational issues, please refer to the User Guide.
