The universal input accepts both 120VAC and 240VAC line voltages and provides up to 500 Watts of total output power — more than any other controller on the market! In fact, our controller is powerful enough to drive any full-sized incandescent traffic light, yet sensitive enough to work with the most cost-efficient LED bulbs all the way down to 1 watt. Thanks to new Snubberless technology, our controller does not suffer from voltage bleed. So no glowing or flickering in the off state. Solid-state also means quiet, effortless switching for many years. Mechanical relays are noisy and can fail after several months under short cycle times. For this reason, solid-state has been the industry standard in traffic light control for over 30 years. The logic section is protected by a rugged yet energy-efficient solid-state switching circuit. It can handle voltage spikes up to 1KV, yet only draws about 1/10 watt. Using microcontroller technology, 49 custom sequences are packed into this unit and can be easily selected with the push of a button. No need to cycle power to change the program.
