About Summers' Love, A Cute And Funny Cinderella Love Story

Product description Stu is no Nick Sparks - not even close. But we have to start somewhere. Stu did his best."Summers' Love will make you laugh, but keep a tissue close by." ~ Eva Marie Everson, Best-selling & Award-winning Author ( DISCLAIMER: Eva Marie Everson received zero, nada, bupkis for her endorsement.) "Fun and clever, with a new twist every few pages that I didn't see coming." ~ Christy award-winning author, Ann Tatlock ( DISCLAIMER: Ann Tatlock also received nada, zilch, for her endorsement, though Stu did promise to take her sailing one day. First he has to raise his boat from the bottom of its slip.) Best-selling romance writer Stu Summers expects fawning praise and flirtatious smiles from his female fans. But when his editor at Little Brown Pelican informs Stu that his latest manuscript is nothing more than a hack-job, Stu's carefully crafted career begins to unravel. Stu has one week to deliver a complete rewrite that meets his readers' demanding standards. And he would. If only he could. But Stu can't write. At least not romance novels. For years Stu has paid a "Holy Ghost writer" on the Outer Banks of North Carolina to write his novels, but now Hattie May Hall feels God calling her to write paranormal Amish thrillers. With Stu's career on the line, he suddenly finds himself falling for Kate Winston, a down-on-her-luck stun-gun sales rep with serious male trust issues. Will Kate be Stu's source of inspiration? Or, as the clock ticks closer to midnight, will an unlikely pair of hearts collide, providing a "shocking" climax to the world's biggest stun gun party? Written for the General Market (G) (I): Contains little or no; sexual dialogue or situations, violence, or strong language. May also contain some content of an inspirational/religious nature . . . and a wee bit of humor. Review Laughter, tears and good times in the warm glow of summer s love is the perfect recipe for laughs and tears. -- --Viral Books Stu Summers has swept into the world of publishing like a literary wave. Who is this man? Where is this island he writes from? And, this writer wants to know--is Summers' Love a memoir, a fictitious romance, or Stu Summers' unique way of poking at the funny bone of the romance publishing industry? Whatever the answer, Summers' Love will keep you riveted and make you laugh. But ... keep a tissue close by. With Summers' work, you just never know. Eva Marie Everson Best-selling & Award-winning Author --WordWeavers From the Author Thanks for reading my book. I know it's not the best funny romance in the world but it did almost, one time, win an award. And when you think about it, for the money, you could do a lot worse. A note from Stu: People ask me why I wrote "Summers' Love." To be honest, it came about from a time in my life when I was going through some old letters and things I kept from high school and college. There were prom pictures with girls I loved and ticket stubs from concerts with girls I loved and notes passed in halls from girls I loved but who, it turns out, did not love me. That started me thinking about love (or at least puppy love) and how each of the girls I knew had dented my soul in some way - and how I may have, in some way, dented theirs. So I begin writing lines and verses and before long I had a mess. I think it's clear from the reviews that some readers share this opinion. I've always been a half-decent sailor but I have never been able to "read the waters" of a woman. Women remain a complete mystery to me. Perhaps that is why I enjoy spending time around them so much. I find women enchanting. It is not a stretch to say that most of the women I dated in high school and college took my breath away - and my heart. Anyway, I am rambling, which is never a good thing when you're a writer. If "Summers' Love" seems far-fetched, off-balance, or implausible, it is. Only an idiot would write a story like this. Or live it and write about it. ~ Stu From the Back Cover A note from Stu: People ask me why I wrote "Summers Love."
