About Permatex 85420 Permashield Fuel Resistant Gasket
Description Permatex PermaShield Fuel Resistant Gasket Dressing and Sealant is a polyester urethane sealant with strong resistance to gasoline and all other automotive fluids, making it excellent for a variety of applications, including oil pans, axle assemblies and fuel injectors. This sealant remains flexible even at high temperatures, with a temperature range of -60 degrees Fahrenheit to 500 degrees Fahrenheit, which allows for repeated disassembly and resassembly in metal to metal applications. Versatile and vibration resistant, this tacky formula allows for unlimited assembly time and stays tacky for repeated use without reapplication. Ideal for use on cars, trucks, boats, tractors, snowmobiles, engines, lawn mowers and chainsaws.
