This sand filter sports a six-function control valve which enables you to filter, backwash, rinse, recirculate, drain and close the system. It includes a 24-hr automatic timer to set the operating time and a safety shut-off to make pool maintenance much simpler. This pump has a flow rate of 2,100 gallons per hour, creating a system flow rate of 1,600 gallons per hour and making it a perfect fit for above ground pools up to 18 feet in diameter (or 24x12 rectangular).
