Cobra Carbide general end mill has center cutting geometry. Design for increased chip removal rate. Designed for slotting, profiling and plunging operations. Used for semi-finishing operation. Manufactured from premium sub micron grain carbide. Solid carbide tools offer long tool life and faster cutting speeds than other substrates, but are more brittle and must be used with rigid toolholding systems. Titanium aluminum nitride coatings become self-lubricating when used at very high speeds, making them ideal for cutting without coolant ("dry machining"). Round shanks allow use with a wide variety of toolholding systems. Work material: nickel/inconel alloy and titanium; good for hardened steel, stainless steel; excellent for aluminum alloy, carbon steel, alloy steel and cast iron.
