This Boston Gear HS610L helical gear has a 45-degree helix angle for transmitting power between non-intersecting shafts. It is made of steel for strength and durability, with steel-hardened, polished teeth for resistance to wear. The hub has a 3/16" x 3/32" keyway, and a set screw is located at 90 degrees for a secure attachment to the shaft. It has a Pressure angle of 14.5 degrees for a higher contact ratio between gears, resulting in quieter operation than larger pressure angles.
