From the Manufacturer Mission Rubber Flex-Seal Couplings are an extensive line of flexible sewer couplings that connect similar and dissimilar pipe materials and sizes. They are manufactured with natural and synthetic rubbers conforming to ASTM C 425 and ASTM C 1173. Blends of natural and synthetic rubbers permit a substantial degree of distortion without change in basic physical or chemical resistance unlike other manufacturers' thermoplastic coupling materials. Flex-Seal Couplings have a tolerance range of approximately ± 3-percent on sizes up to 12-Inch nominal diameter.
