About American Educational Orrery Motorized Solar System
Give your students the chance to see the solar system in action. You will be able to show the students the relative orbit speeds of each planet and the relative position between individual planets and the sun. Lesson plan facilitates explanation of orbit and speed. Model is gear driven within the base. Not chain-driven. Slightly smaller in scale than our non-motorized version. Internally gear-driven motor revolves planets around the sun in their relative orbits. Users can manually adjust planets according to the planet position table with the 360 degree scale on the base. Model is exceptionally quiet and includes a lesson plan to help explain orbit and speed. Teacher's guide includes 10 lessons; 25 pages. For grades 3-9. Ages 8-14.
