The verbal and reading practice is sorted by level, including about 6 reading passages on each of these levels: basic, medium, difficult, middle level challenge, and upper level challenge. I am using this for Middle Level students, and it is amazing to be able to march kids gradually up the levels of difficulty. ----Susan B. (Amazon) This book does a good job with the amount of drilling questions it provides, the strategies are concise and the word list at the end is pretty exhaustive. Personally I really like how this book focuses exclusively on ISEE English. My students find it annoying that in other ISEE/SSAT books like the one from Kaplan, the book will jump around, discussing the english section, then Math, then back to English.
