"Ampersand Art Supply's Museum Series Aquabord is made from our premium warp-resistant 1/8" profile FSC-Certified Hardbord that is sealed and protected with our proprietary Archiva-Seal and coated with a highly absorbent, acid-free clay and mineral ground with a texture similar to cold-pressed watercolor paper. Aquabord offers brilliant color and limitless techniques. Watercolor artists choose Aquabord because unlike paper, it will not tear, shrink, or buckle even under the heaviest water application and it requires no stretching or mounting – perfect for plein air painting! This amazing watercolor surface allows for limitless techniques: endlessly layer and glaze, easily lift to underlying colors or back to the white of the surface.
