Back-up radar is a safety assistant device when parking or backing a car. It can tell the driver about obstacles by sound or more intuitive display. It can relieve the trouble caused by the driver's left and right visits when parking, backing and starting the car. It can also help the driver to remove the defects of dead angle of vision and blurred line of sight and improve the driving safety. Usually, reversing radar consists of ultrasonic sensor (commonly known as probe), controller and display (or buzzer) etc. Reversing radar generally adopts the principle of ultrasonic ranging. Under the control of the controller, ultrasonic signals are transmitted by sensors. When encountering obstacles, echo signals are generated. After receiving the echo signals, the sensors process the data and judge the position of obstacles by the controller. The distance is displayed by the monitor and other warning signals are sent out, so that the driver can be warned in time.
