About the Author Heidi Mertens:In her artistic work, Heidi Mertens primarily combines elements taken from photography with texts and graphics. The Graz-based artist was initially an editor at the Austrian public service broadcaster, ORF, and has been working freelance in the fields of graphic design and creativity, since 1995. She regularly gives workshops on these subjects. Since 2012, she has increasingly turned to photography and is working on a number of projects.Robert Mertens:Robert Mertens is an art photographer, book author, and teacher of photography and visual creativity. After completing a classic training in photography and having years of creative experience in advertising, he decided to follow an artistic career.
