About Lithops Living Rock Stone Plant
Single lithops living rock plant in a 2-inch diameter plastic pot. The color/pattern of the plant you receive may vary, all plants are slightly different but they are all lithops. The name lithops is derived from Greek, literally “stone” and “face”. These tiny plants appear like pebbles growing in the cracks of rocks in their native South Africa. They thrive on very little water. The plant consists of a pair of leaves, which are always evolving with older leaves being displaced by a newer pair. Lithops make excellent house plants, they grow well in containers with extremely well draining soil.
