About Candlewic EVO-16 PURPLE
Highly concentrated liquid oil soluble dyes that provide ease of measurement and solubility. These dyes are ideal for all candle wax systems including but not limited to soy waxes, palm waxes, natural waxes, paraffin wax blends and other hybrid wax blends. When measuring dyes measure by weight. (light shades. 001% to. 005%), (medium shades. 01% to. 05%), (dark shades. 15% -. 20%). Themended temperature for manufacturing with liquid dyes is under 180⁰ f or 85⁰ c. Working at higher temperatures or prolonged exposure to heat can degrade the colors, causing fading or color alteration to appear. The following factors that may affect the amount of dye required for the desired shade includes, the opacity and type of wax, wax additives and last but not least fragrance.
