Hippie ponchos have a brushed interior which is soft like silk, but untouched woven exterior which protects you from the elements. Baja hoodies had existed in Mexico for decades, and were first brought home to California by surfers traveling to find perfect, deserted waves on the rugged coastline of the Mexican state of Baja California.
