About 1920's Vincent Zito Caricature Of Rudolph Valentino

Autograph is located on the bottom left side of the picture. Zito (1900–1966) was a talented artist most famous for his caricatures of the celebrities he encountered throughout his life in both Europe and America, primarily working in Paris and Palm Beach. Original sketchbook used by famed caricaturist Vincenzo Maria Zito during the 1930s and 40s while in Paris, measuring approximately 8 x 10.5, containing over 80 caricatures of celebrities and notables, many of them signed by the subject. This autograph is guaranteed to pass authentication or your money back. Rodolfo Alfonso Raffaello Pierre Filibert Guglielmi di Valentina d'Antonguolla, professionally known as Rudolph Valentino (May 6, 1895 – August 23, 1926), was an Italian-born actor who starred in several well-known silent films including The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, The Sheik, Blood and Sand, The Eagle, and The Son of the Sheik. An early pop icon, a sex symbol of the 1920s, he was known as the "Latin Lover" or simply as "Valentino". He had applied for American citizenship shortly before his death, which occurred at age 31, causing mass hysteria among his female fans and further propelling him into iconic status. The inside cover, and other pages, of the sketch book which contains Zito's information has been imaged to this listing. HOWEVER, THESE PAGES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THIS LISTING WITH THE CARICATURE.
