The Endless Summer 50th Anniversary is a hand-bound, limited edition written by Dana Brown, son of legendary surfing filmmaker Bruce Brown. It celebrates the making and successful distribution of the 1966 internationally acclaimed surfing documentary. The Endless Summer was instrumental in helping to establish surfing as a sport, lifestyle and culture throughout the world. The film and book set are in the Smithsonian National American History Museum, as it is credited with changing American Culture. Bruce Brown personally autographed every book as well as Robert August, Mike Hynson, and John Van Hamersveld, each of them signing the certificate of authenticity. Each boxed set is numbered, unique collectable, includes a five-frame film strip from an original film print.: a custom minted commemorative medallion / coin, never before seen photographs, film memorabilia with replicas of maps, posters, letters, postcards, news clippings, and movie tickets.
