This is a rare single page advertising handbill (flyer) promoting the West End revival of the CLIFFORD GREY, GREATREX NEWMAN, VIVIAN ELLIS and RICHARD MYERS musical comedy "MR. CINDERS" at the Fortune Theatre in London. (The revival opened December 30th, 1982 at London's Kings Head Theatre Club and transferred on April 27th, 1983 to the Fortune Theatre.) ..... The musical starred LONNIE DONEGAN and CHRISTINA MATTHEWS (who had replaced DENIS LAWSON and JULIA JOSEPHS respectively) and featured GRAHAM HOADLY, JANTHEA WILLIAMS, ZANE STANLEY, JANET DIBLEY, NICKY RUBIN, ANDREA KEALY, PHILIP BIRD, DEREK SMEE, ANGELA VALE, OLIVIER PIERRE, SHAUN HARRIS, DIANA MARTIN, HELEN BLIZARD and ANDREW LIVINGSTON with MILLI KOSOY-GERVASI and LESLEY HAYES at the pianos ..... This single page, two-sided handbill measures 5 1/4" X 8 1/2" inches and includes wonderful graphics and production credits on the front and performance times and excerpts from several reviews on the backside ..... CONDITION: This rare flyer is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
