About 2023 (W) 1 Oz American Silver Eagle Coin MS-70

Produced by the prestigious United States Mint, the release of the 2023 (W) 1 oz American Silver Eagle coin (no mint-mark) represents the 37th anniversary of the series. About the grade and certification: Offered to you in a MS70 grade and certified First Strike by Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS), the coin has been holdered in an elegant gold foild label. The PCGS holder will keep the coin in the best state of preservation and they guarantee the grade and authenticity of the coin, as long as it remains in its tamper-evident holder. About the coin: Struck in 1 troy ounce of 99.9% pure silver, the coin is a legal tender backed by the United States Government (authorizing legislation: Public Law 99-61) and has a denomination of one dollar (USD). They’re also allowed in an IRA. The obverse features Adolph A. Weinman’s famed design with Lady Liberty draped in an American flag, walking gracefully as the sun rises over a ridge, symbolizing the enlightenment and hope that freedom represents and the importance of embracing peace to enrich ourselves with the hopes of a brighter life. As the mint states, thanks to technological advancements in the design and minting process, the design now encompasses some of Weinman’s original details that were not previously possible. The reverse design is the creation of Artistic Infusion Program (AIP) artist Emily Damstra and was sculpted by Mint medallic artist Michael Gaudioso. Depicting a bald eagle landing with an oak branch held in its talons as it prepares to land in a nest. Surrounding the eagle design are inscriptions for the denomination, weight, fineness and country of issue, not to mention the motto “E Pluribus Unum”. Security feature: Since 2021 (type 2 release) an enhanced security feature is included with a reeded edge variation. A sound investment, a staple for every coin aficionado and the perfect addition to your bullion collection.
