When a gigantic great white shark begins to menace the small island community of Amity, a police chief, a marine scientist and grizzled fisherman set out to stop it. The Shark was named Bruce by crew members and had several teeth made for it. They would replace teeth as needed after scenes were shot and other teeth broke off.
