A lovely addition to any kitchen collection, this stoneware jar holds up to 6-Ounce of syrup--perfect for pancakes, waffles, French toast, and more. It can even go in the microwave for warming contents before serving. The round-shaped jar, which measures approximately 2-2/3 by 3 by 3-8/9 inches, comes with a gently curved side handle, a smooth-flowing spout for pouring, and classic decoration on the exterior, including a distinctive embossed maple leaf and Le Creuset's signature concentric rings. Le Creuset's line of stoneware features a hard-wearing, impermeable finish fired at temperatures as high as 2192 degrees F. With a porosity level of less than 1 percent, it blocks moisture absorption, which can lead to cracking, crazing, and rippling along the interior. Its non-porous construction also resists odors, scratching, and staining for hygienic use and optimal performance. Even more, its high-quality enamel protects against metal marks and other damage, which means it's safe to use with knives.
