Every song includes extra instrument tracks that play along with the main tune, as if you were in the middle of a virtual orchestra. Each song can be played as fast or as slow as you wish and it is also possible to mute the melody track so that you can play it on the keyboard. With a four octave range, it is possible to learn to play right hand melodies, left hand chords and even play with both hands together. The 100 sounds cover a range of different musical instrument families, including grand pianos, guitars, trumpets, saxophones and much more. Some sounds are split voices, meaning that the lower area of the keyboard has a different sound to the higher range. There are also layered sounds: selecting these makes the keyboard play two different sounds at the same time. The keyboard also has percussion sounds and sound effects that can be played using the keys. Each of the 100 rhythms feature a backing track of bass, drums and other accompanying instruments that follow the notes you play in the chord area of the keyboard. The volume of the backing track can be varied and you can add interesting variations to the drum track by using the Fill-In button.
