About Live In Vienna
This stunning live album is one of those rare moments when a producer duo, well known from the electronic club genre prove that it is possible to cross the border into the world of performing live with real instruments. Live in Vienna grew out of dZihan & Kamien’s desire to do something special for the release party for their last studio CD, Gran Riserva. With the help of the Austrian government, 22 people were gathered on stage at Porgy and Bess, one of the most famous jazz clubs in Vienna. Master musicians from Turkey to Miami formed a "dreamteam" to translate the dZihan & Kamien sound into an orchestral performance featuring the downtempo duo's signature blend of cool jazz, dancefloor beats and Eastern strings. The North American version of this release features a special bonus disc of dZihan & Kamien remixes- many of which have been previously unavailable in this country.
