About MotorGuide MGA501A2 Universal Removable Mount For
This MotorGuide Removable Mount lets you mount or remove a trolling motor quickly and easily. Its universal hole patterns fit most traditional trolling motor mounts, and it is compatible with Gator® Flex 360, 20.8, 21, 21R, 24, 24R, X3, X3D, and X5 mounts. The small insert piece is secured to the boat with stainless steel bolts, washers, and nylon lock nuts to create a solid base. The larger outside piece slides into place from the front of the boat. It is held in place by a tab on the inner piece, and a stainless steel pin runs through both pieces at the back of the mount. This mount is ideal for saltwater flats, ski, and fish boats, or anytime a trolling motor needs to be quickly removed or swapped. This black mount is made of high-impact composite.
