About the Author Jim Argo worked for two Texas newspapers before moving to Oklahoma City and the largest state newspaper, The Daily Oklahoman, and its sister publication, the Oklahoma City Times, in 1963. His freelance assignments have included major news magazines, including Business Week, Newsweek, Time, National Geographic. He was inducted into the Oklahoma Journalism Hall of Fame in 1997.
