About Sherwood Pet Health Baby Chinchilla Food - 4.5
This is the only food on the market that is low in carbohydrates (starch and grain which baby chinchillas don't digest well) but rich in fat "like mamma's milk." The high fat content (8% vs. the common 2-3 %) provides the best nutrition for baby chinchillas up to about 16 weeks of age. If your baby chinchilla is suffering from diarrhea this food is designed to be the cure!
