It's an effect that can easily spiral out of control — and here's where the Triple Shot comes in. This multiband blendable overdrive pedal packs gallons of high-octane gain, but it also offers iron-fisted control and versatility. Basically, the Triple Shot is three distortion pedals in one. The signal from the instrument is split into three frequency bands (Dark, Medium, and Light); then fed into three distortion generators. Each band has its own level (Roast) control before being recombined to create a complete signal. It's therefore possible to retain and enhance the low frequencies of your bass sound in the context of a thick and chunky overdriven tone, enriched with high-gain treble. Flexibility is key: take the lows and highs and mix them to taste to harvest a vast universe of unique and tasty bass tones.
