This bright red overdrive pedal is the second iteration of the Full-Drive from Fulltone. Featuring an upgraded control design, a variety of clipping modes, and top quality construction, this pedal will put your playing into high gear.Upgraded Control DesignThe first version of the Full-Drive2 featured Boost mode, which gave players the option to switch between two different distortion settings with the use of a footswitch. However, the Full-Drive2 V2 now expands on that idea, adding a separate volume control for the Drive 2 channel. It sports a left footswitch for on/off, and a right footswitch to go between Overdrive 1 and 2, with individual volume and drive knobs for each. Variety of Clipping ModesThe Fulltone Full-Drive2 V2 also has a variety of clipping modes. Comp-Cut affords a nice 90's rock sound, while Vintage Mode creates a slightly asymmetrical, large, warm sound. Flat-Mids induce the sounds of the late 90's/00's, while WIDE gives you more open bottom end and additional clarity. Lastly, Half-Clipped removes some of the distortion from the bass notes and allows the highs to ring out. Top Quality ConstructionIn addition to these excellent sonic upgrades, this pedal also has a number of top quality construction features which give it a little extra power under the hood and strength on top. There's the JRC4558 opamp, a full-size capacitor, and an internal battery cradle with 9-18VDC operation.
