About ControlOMatic NatureChlor Electrolyzed Water System

ControlOMatic NatureChlor Electrolyzed Water Generator NatureChlor is a semi-automated, saltwater chlorine generator that produces a high value of hypochlorous acid (HOCl) with a small volume of water in a short amount of time. When you dissolve non-iodized salt (sodium chloride) in the water, NatureChlor generates chlorine. Then you apply some current to the saltwater solution to generate electrolyzed water (EOW). Electrolysis is the process of an electrical current passing through the water with sodium chloride (NaCl) Solution. This then generates HOCl. With a quarter teaspoon of salt, NatureChlor can make 350 PPM in 1 quart of water in only 15 minutes. HOCl is neutrally charged and repels negatively-charged bacteria like E. coli, Listeria, Salmonella, and Campylobacter. With electrolyzed water, you can kill these common foodborne pathogens in less than 30 seconds on contact. Compared to bleach, the EOW does not contain toxic chemicals. It is safe to use for cleaning food and washing your skin. If you substitute salt with potassium carbonate, NatureChlor can make potassium hydroxide (KOH), an effective degreaser. To clean the electrode, simply place the electrode into a tall glass with white vinegar to dissolve the accumulated calcium. The non-toxic solution can degrease kitchen counters, ovens, barbecue grills, stovetops, and floors. You can use electrolyzed water for the following applications (but not limited to): Cleaning and sterilizing cooking/bathroom surfaces Disinfecting beddings, hot tubs, spas, and swimming pools Spraying your shoes before entering the house Washing fruits and vegetables Degreasing kitchen utensils Add to the water of freshly cut flowers to help prolong their freshnessNatureChlor comes with 1-pack of pH Test Strips (ph 1-14).
