Product Description As fast as you can open a jar of Vicks VapoRub, you can begin to experience the feeling of freer breathing. Soothing vapors inhaled into the nose and throat relieve nasal congestion and coughs due to colds. VapoRub is applied externally to the chest or throat, so it doesn't interact with other medication the way pills can, and is not likely to cause drowsiness or jittery side effects. VapoRub may be an alternative to oral decongestants for people who suffer from hypertension, and may be suited for diabetics who are looking for a sugar-free cough suppressant. Vicks VapoRub may also be rubbed on sore muscles to relieve aches and pains. Ingredients Active (Purpose): Camphor 4.8% (Cough Suppressant and Topical Analgesic), Eucalyptus Oil 1.2% (Cough Suppressant), Menthol 2.6% (Cough Suppressant and Topical Analgesic) Inactive: Cedarleaf Oil, Nutmeg Oil, Special Petrolatum, Thymol, Turpentine Oil. Instructions Adults and children 2 years and over: For cough suppression Rub a thick layer on throat & chest Cover with a warm, dry cloth if desired Keep clothing loose about throat and chest to help vapors reach the nose and mouth Use up to three times daily or as directed by doctor For muscle/joint minor aches and pains apply to affected area not more than 3 to 4 times daily Children under 2 years of age: Do not use.
