It eliminates the need for link springs or a box spring and is a great alternative to a standard foundation for platform beds, bunk beds and day beds. Classic Brands XTREME Wooden Bed Slats are a great way to give your mattress some extra support. These wooden slats prevent sagging and increase the longevity of a mattress. Made of solid wood you can add these to a regular bed frame making it a platform bed frame. The wooden slats are easy to use and install and work with any type of mattress. The Twin, Twin XL and EU Twin sizes have 13 slats, the Full, EU Full and Queen sizes have 14 slats and King and Cal King have 15 slats. .
