It eliminates the need for any disposable coffee filters, thus making it your lifetime partner! You’re also saving trees and protecting our environment for the next generation! The micro holes present in the porous ceramic surface of the filter removes impurities from the water, making your coffee clean and smooth. Compared to other ceramic filters, it has a faster dripping speed (similar to a paper filter). Material: Reusable Ceramic Silicon Carbide. Regular Washing: After each use, rinse it with water and let it dry. Maintenance Normally, you will only have to wash your filter with water after each use. Please do not use any form of detergent as it will get inside the porous material. If the filter becomes clogged, place it directly on a stove flame (with the opening facing upward). Let it sit for approximately 3 to 5 minutes or until you see white smoke (any impurities present will start burning and white smoke will emerge from the filter). Afterward, roll it until all the dirt is thoroughly burned. Alternative cleaning method: You can also use boiling water with baking soda to clean the filter. Let the water boil for approximately 7 to 8 minutes. Turn off the stove and leave the coffee filter in the hot water for approximately 20 mins. Then wash it with clean water.
