Mullein (Verbascum spp) is also known as Aarron's rod and is traditionally used as a tea, and is frequently combined with other herbs. May be taken as an extract if fresh material is used, and is very rarely found in capsule form. The fresh or dried flowers have traditionally been used to make an oil infusion for external use. The small hairs on mullein leaf may cause mechanical irritation if not filtered out prior to consumption. We recommend this product to people who are already well familiar with it. Our Mullein Leaf comes from a small herb farm in northern California. Mullein is high in magnesium, iron, potassium, and sulfur. Mullein must be finely filtered to eliminate the irritating hairs.
