About AGN 134338 Shurtape HW-300 Housewrap Sheathing

Description Shurtape HW-300 Housewrap Sheathing Tape: 2-1/2 in. x 60 yds. Red with Black Printing - Shurtape HW-300 Housewrap Sheathing Tape is a water-based acrylic housewrap tape designed as a closure system and/or operates as a vapor seal on interior and exterior vapor barrier materials. The tape can be used for repair of any housewrap materials in addition to its usefulness for new construction. Shurtape HW 300 may be applied in vast temperature ranges and humid conditions. It seals seams and joints on all types of housewrap, sheathing, insulation or vapor barrier materials. It is UV resistant and is coated with an aggressive permanent adhesive with high shear and holding power capabilities. House wrap tape is applied over the seams of installed housewrap to contribute towards a secondary line of defense against exterior moisture infiltration of the wall envelope. It helps to maximize energy efficiency by sealing the gaps, cracks and crevices where air can easily enter the home and ultimately affect your heating and cooling costs.
