About 1/2" 8.0 Mil 36yd Double Sided Tape High Clarity
Extreme performance double-coated tape has a versatile adhesive system that provides superior hold to a variety of surfaces including metal, plastics and many other irregular surfaces. Its MOPP poly laminate material provides super high tensile strength and is constructed to stand up to demanding applications. Strong enough for use in construction and automotive industry for bonding trim and other fine projects that need a strong reliable permanent hold. Plus it's versatility and ease of use makes it great for general double sided repair or bonding tape applications. It can also be used for general purpose hand tabbing and splicing applications. Its easy to remove protective top coat makes it to simple to unwind and backing glides off smoothly. Applications & Instructions: For backing removal, just fold over 1/4" diagonally at the end then grab backing. If you want to hold something in place for a short period of time, DO NOT press it firmly into place and keep away from heat. Just install the tape and use very light pressure for easier removal later. The MORE pressure, time, and heat take place, the more permanent the bond. After 7 days the bond starts to become permanent and residue will remain if removed. Please NOTE: Surfaces should be as clean, dust free, and dry as possible before application. This tape is NOT moisture resistant until AFTER the adhesive has some time to cure. Acrylic adhesive is pressure sensitive and heat performing. Make sure you press it firmly into place when applying and ensure your conditions are as dry & warm as possible to ensure maximum bonding. The dryer and warmer your installations are, the better the adhesive will attach for long term applications. WARNING - Ultra Sticky!! Use Extreme caution when touching, positioning, removing backing, & installing items. Unwind straight from roll and cut only with razor knife from the backing side.
