A366/1008 Steel is genrally known as "commercial quality" cold rolled steel sheet, which displays good formability, very good smooth surface finish that is far superior to hot rolled steel. "Cold Rolled" refers to the process of the removal of the protective oxide surface found on "hot rolled" or steel that has not been further treated after production.
