The calibrator generates these fixed sound level signals for calibration of sound level meters. This model works with any digital sound level meter. The unit ships with a ½" adaptor installed to accommodate sound meters and microphones with 1" or 1/2" microphone. Features To correct for atmospheric pressure in areas of high altitude the transducer diaphragm It has two output levels of 94 dB and 114 dB. Calibrated to produce 94dB at sea level. For each 2000ft of elevation sea ND-9 produces 0.1dB less than the 94dB rating.
